Goodbye Cabin Fever, Hello Terra Firma

Ok folks.... here it is, a little look at the back half of 2011, or at least the last few months.  During this time we've managed some pretty awesome trips to some beautiful place and are now settled in Mallorca enjoying the land dwelling life.

It seems since we got here it's been 'the festive season'.  We've had the Mums come and stay, I turned the big 3 0 and now the fatman is on the doorstep.  Not to mention the fact that a new year is about to start and with it comes a series of awesome adventures.

Hope you enjoy the picks, and now that this site is up and running I'll be sure to share more often.  Enjoy.

This next lot of photos are taken in a place called Dolce Aqua, a little village nestled up in the mountains inland from Imperia, Italy.  It is beyond old here and we were so glad to spend the day discovering the nooks and grannies as well as eating until our hearts were content.

From there is was off to Vence, France.  Another awesome in which the vilage centre is enclosed by a great wall.  Vence is famous for being a home to many artists and muscians who have become very influencial over time both in France and internationally.

Back to the Gorge du Verdon now and we couldn't be happier.  This place is magical.  There is something to be said about being in the mountains, swimming in the river and generally letting yourself be absorbed by nature.  After an epic season in terms of working hours accumulated it was even more well received.

The journey begins now back to Mallorca, with a quick stop in Tunisia and then Malta before the start of our 5 months of land dwelling.  Little did I know on the way I'd find myself excepting James proposal, pretty special surprise.

After sunrises, dolphins, short sleeps and long watches we finally made it to Mallorca - and what a spot to have to hang out (ON LAND) for a few months!  Was totally awesome to have the Mums visit, bit of a treat to have more than a table for two for my birthday and then what-do-ya-know, it's Christmas and another year is almost done and dusted.

And that about wraps it up for 2011.  So looking forward to the new year - can't wait to see a lot of your smiling faces and wish you all well for the year to come!  Loads of love.
